1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using FaviconForge (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FaviconForge is a web application that allows users to create, customize, and download favicons for their websites. The Service offers both free and premium tiers with different features and capabilities.

3. Free and Premium Tiers

Free Tier

  • Access to basic favicon generation features
  • Standard icon formats (ICO, PNG)
  • Limited customization options
  • No commercial use restrictions

Premium Tier

  • Advanced customization options including custom manifests
  • Priority support
  • Commercial use license
  • Additional file formats and sizes
  • Access to premium templates and features
  • Permanent access with a one-time payment (no recurring charges)

Payment for Premium tier is processed securely through Stripe as a one-time payment that grants permanent access to all premium features while the service is operational. There is no guarantee that the service will be available indefinitely.

4. User Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating an account
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Use the Service in compliance with applicable laws
  • Not use the Service to create content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the Service
  • Not use the Service for any illegal or harmful purposes

5. Payment and Refunds

  • Premium access is a one-time payment with no recurring charges
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Refunds may be requested within 14 days of purchase
  • Once purchased, premium access remains active while the service is operational
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing for new purchases, but existing premium users retain their access rights
  • We do not guarantee the service will remain operational indefinitely and may discontinue the service at our discretion

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain all rights to the favicons and designs you create using FaviconForge. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and deliver your content.

Our Service

The FaviconForge application, including its design, code, and branding, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without permission.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process data as described in that policy to provide and improve the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • You are responsible for backing up your content

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
